“I no longer study Kaballah, my baby is my religion,” Britney Spears recently wrote on her Web site. Sweet…but insiders say the real reason Spears bailed on the trendy religion has more to do with money than maternity. “She’s tired of the way Kabbalah leaders kept hassling her for money,” a source tells MSNBC.
“Actually, it was mostly her mother’s decision. They were always asking Britney to tithe [donate a percentage of her salary]. There was a lot of pressure, and finally her mom said, ‘Enough is enough.’” (Federlines, take note. Keep hassling Brit for money and she’ll cut you off like a $26 red piece of string.)
