Dakota Fanning : Prom Queen Homecoming of High School

Dakota Fanning : Prom Queen Homecoming of High School

The 16-year-old child star was named her high school's homecoming queen, PEOPLE reports.

The 'Twilight' actress donned a short-sleeved white dress covered in gold studs, tights, and black booties as she walked down the Campbell Hall football field with homecoming king Henry Aleck at North Hollywood's Campbell Hall Episcopal High School.

Wearing minimal makeup and letting her straight blonde locks hang loose, the recent Marie Claire cover girl looked surprisingly low-key.

Well, as low-key as a gal boasting a queenly tiara, blue sash, and bouquet of roses can look.

Fanning also won the honor last year.

Hmmm. Maybe she can give panty-flashing Miley Cyrus some lessons on "wholesome teen behavior"?

What does Fanning do when she's not receiving a girl's dream honor at high school? She's starring in movies they all love, as she prepares to play Jane once again opposite Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the 'Breaking Dawn' films being released in 2011 and 2012.

Pretty Patterns

I spotted this fashion editorial with Dakota Fanning, yes that Dakota Fanning awhile ago and it made my jaw drop.

Not only was I amazed at how grown up she is now, but I was loving the beautiful pattern combinations in her looks. Being a pattern-phobe myself, I doubt I could ever be so brave with my fashion. My housewares, on the other hand, are a completely different story.
