Metcalfe checked himself in to an undisclosed rehab center for alcohol abuse this week. Jesse decided to enter treatment Monday, one day before Page Six broke the story of his weekend-long binge at the Mondrian hotel in L.A.Sources reported that he appeared as though he hadn't slept in days and was acting "very angry" and "out of control."
Metcalfe's rep has released the following statement:
"On Monday, March 19, Jesse Metcalfe entered a rehab facility to deal with alcohol issues. He realized he had a problem and was anxious to deal with it immediately. The actor, best known as the hunky gardener on the ABC show 'Desperate Housewives' and the star of the film 'John Tucker Must Die,' hopes that the media will allow him the privacy to deal properly with his treatment."You don't stay awake days with alcohol. C'mon. They always say 'alcohol', but we know they really mean blow.
