Edward & Bella's TWILIGHT Get Married - Cover Story

It was a scene as lush and romantic as every Breaking Dawn reader had imagined: Rob Pattinson as vampire Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as heroine Bella Swan, nearly naked in skimpy swimsuits, frolicking together over a waterfall in tropical Paraty, south of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on their honeymoon. Under a searing afternoon sun on Nov. 8, Twilight’s on- and off-screen lovers laughed giddily.

When Kristen hopped up on Rob’s back for a lift over the falls, there was no doubt the two actors were having fun. It was a moment sexy enough to make any Twi-hard swoon. And it was all in a day’s work: Rob, 24, and Kristen, 20, were in Brazil to shoot steamy scenes for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire series. And, as always for this couple, art and life were hopelessly intertwined.

TWILIGHT - Breaking Dawn : Kristen Stewart Says

Whatever the studio decides, there's no denying Breaking Dawn is going to be the most CG-intense film of the series, with one of the lead characters in the book practically begging to be completely CG. In fact, the introduction of this character in the fourth book left a lot of fans questioning whether it would be possible to actually bring Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn to the big screen. That, and the fact the book is much more adult in tone than its three predecessors, makes Breaking Dawn the most difficult of the batch to adapt for the screen.

Stewart said she's expecting Breaking Dawn to start filming sometime this year. "That, probably November, but I don't know if it's going to be one or two."

Part of the hold up in declaring a two-part Breaking Dawn may have to do with the actors' contracts. Stewart's not sure if she's signed up for one or two more films. "I don't know, actually," admitted Stewart. "I can't imagine that they wouldn't want [two]. The story so completely warrants two films and it would suck to have to... It would be really disappointing to have to be able to just go, 'Okay, we have to lose this sequence and this scene and this sequence and this scene.' So I would like to do two movies but I really, to be perfectly honest, don't know what they’re going to do."
