Feeling Regal

I'm by no means an expert in tableware - I've really spent very little time paying attention to it, but it's certainly catching my eye now that I have wedding (and wedding registry!) on the brain. 

These lovely options from Royal Caribbean actually have me considering a proper dinner rather than one served on the couch!

The Perfect Table

I realize I posted about our wedding tabletop inspiration last week but then I spotted the most amazing wedding dinner set-up that I just couldn't resist sharing.

I mean, get a load of that tent!

Even though we're going to have a much smaller gathering and be on the beach, do you think I could replicate it? Did you see the chandeliers!

Of course, I'd change a few colors and make a tweak or two but I think this look is total perfection. Let the swooning begin.

Wedding Tabletop

As promised, I wanted to share the first bits of my wedding tabletop inspiration. When trying to put the vision in my head  into words the best I could come up with is eclectic beachy elegance. 

We've yet to determine if we'll be dining al fresco, with our feet in the sand or maybe even inside a restaurant, but there are a few musts I'm sure of.

#1 No linens, matching dinnerware or glasses. I love the look of bare tables, varied stemware and mismatched plates. 

#2 There also needs to be lots of soft light be it from lanterns, candles or stringed bulbs. 

 #3 Tons and tons and tons of flowers in a monochromatic scheme.
