Police were called to Grand Avenue and Valley Boulevard in the CIty of Industry around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday after a report of a non-injury vehicle collision, said Deputy Jeff Cannon.Police talked to Gomez, 31, then detained him. A search of his vehicle turned up marijuana and medicine that did not have a required prescription, authorities said.
Gomez was booked on suspicion of possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, having a prescribed medication without a prescription and driving under the influence. All are misdemeanors, officials said.
Gomez was released after posting $5,000 bail.
