Watch Out, Here Comes Uniqlo
The Japanese retail chain has opened it first U.S. store in SOHO New York. Uniqlo has over 700 stores in Japan. The new flagship store NYC offers a wide array of hip clothing - including floor to ceiling stacks of cashmere sweaters in every color. The store combines HM style and prices with a clean Japanese store ascetic. I checked out the store myself and I am dying to go back when I have time to try things on. One thing is for sure, Uniqlo will offer some much needed international flare to the U.S. mass clothing market.
