Elbow Length Gloves
While I know I might be jumping the gun a little bit, seeing as it is still in the 70's in New York, I couldn't resist posting about these adorable gloves. The button detail and crochet pattern make them the perfect feminine touch for your bulky winter coat. Available for $31.99 at Mod Cloth.

Fedora Hats for the Fall
The fedora is a soft felt hat that is creased lengthwise down the crown and pinched in the front on both sides. It is said to be invented in the mid-1910s. As hat season approaches here in New York I am excited to wear one of these vintage inspired pieces. Fedora's shown Cha Cha Dotty $196 and Cha Cha Tilt $186 available at Ravinstyle.

Tweed Coat
I came across this adorable tweed coat at Edress Me. It is by Jill Stuart. It would look so cute with skinny jeans and tall boots. $484

Skinny Belts
These skinny belts are a great addition to any wardrobe. Worn around your waist not you hips they add a sense of completeness and composer to an outfit. They seem very european to me. Anthropologie has these two versions braided: Thinly Plaited Belt $58.00 and the Skinny Minnie Belt which comes in lots of fun colors and is only $18.00

Gold Fish T-Shirt
I just bought this red Gold Fish t-shirt at Esty (Indie Crafting Site). I think the design is really fun and the fabric of the actual t-shirt is super soft. Shop Circular Accessories for more fun t's like this.

Maud Shoes at Pixie Market
I recently came across this fabulous shoe line called Maud. I love these 1920's inspired shoes and it is great that they come in both a heel and flat version. Maud also has some really great ankle boots. The only place I have found that sells them is Pixie Market in NYC.

Tsi-La Organic Fragrances
Model Annie Morton and her sister-in-law Natalie Szapowalo have created a line of natural fragrances without synthetics or preservatives called Tsi-La Organics. The perfumes are made of essential oils, plant botanicals, and organic ingredients. They come in beautiful glass bottles which are handpainted.
Wide Leg Jeans
Wide leg jeans are excellent for fall. The seem less casual than skinny jeans which makes them a great option for work. Styles shown J Brand Joplin Palazzo Jean $218 and Gold Sign Dietrich Wide Leg Jean $104.50 at Shopbop.

Vera Wang for Kohls
When I heard that Vera Wang was doing a line for Kohls I was very suprised. While I am totally for making designer ware affordable it seemed like a weird pairing. Although I have never been to a Kohl's I picture it as something like JC Penny. But after reviewing the Simply Vera by Vera collection on Kohl's website I was impressed with some of the simple and very wearable designs. Although the collection was released on September 9th many of the items are already sold out in the smaller sizes.

Best of Show: New York Fashion Week
My favorite collection from this years New York spring shows was by Alice + Olivia. The colors were vibrant and the lines were long and clean. I also liked their back drops, they were interesting and creative.

Most of Show: New York Spring Fashion Week
I found a lot of the collections from the Spring New York fashion shows to be very monotone. The dominant color was beige or tan (Not my personal favorite). There was also alot of etheral, floaty looks like these by BCBG.

Worst of Show: New York Fashion Week
So I will have to say that my least favorite collection from New York's Spring Collection was Marc by Marc Jacobs (gasp!). I know it's crazy but I really didn't like this collection. Maybe it was all of the head to toe colors and patterns or the clownish hats. Hopefully Marc will bring his a-game back for his fall collection.

Beauty Find: Navy Blue Nail Polish
As fall approaches I am increasingly drawn towards darker colors, especially with make up. While black nail polish has been worn by every bad girl from Courtney Love to Rose McGowan a new dark shade of nail polish is making its way into the scene. OPI has recently released "Russian Navy" polish as part of its Russian Collection. While the navy is still dark and edgy it seems more sophisticated and less sinister than its black polish counterpart.
