I just checked out the newest designer collection from Target by Behnaz Sarafpour. Behnaz is a New York city designer (yeah!). The collection has some fun holiday pieces. There are also a lot of lacey pieces which I think are really cute and different. Here are a few of my favorite pieces.
Oh la la - Gold Hawk Clothing
I love these color palettes by designer Gold Hawk. The soft earthy colors combined with the subtle floral patterns are both soothing and sexy. Pair with a warm sweater and boots for the cold weather. Dress in Nutmeg print $235, Cami in English Ivy Print $114. Available at Couture Candy.

Indie Designer: Myna Handbags
Designers Emily and Margaret are working Broadway actresses in NYC. Their handbag collection Myna was inspired by their need to find stylish yet functional totes they could use for rehersals. Their line currently includes not only tote bags, but gorgeous evening bags and clutches as well. Check out their latest fall/winter styles at Trunkshop. Hilary Tote Bage $143 and Aliday Clutch $150.
Trend Alert: Shoes Circa 1920's
I have been noticing a lot of these what I call "cobbler shoes". I did a little researching and found out that these shoes are actually modled after shoes from the 1920's and earlier. If you are like me and fascinated by vintage styles then you are probably dying to get your hands on a pair of these. They are very different from the styles of late but I think they are going to be a big hit. Alumna Spats $298 and The Dean's Booties $398 availabel at Anthropologie.

National Breast Cancer Month: Red Envelope
In an effort to create awareness and raise fund for Breast Cancer research, I will be highlighting each week of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness month, one item in which proceeds are donated. Red Envelopes Think Pink campaign has some great stuff. My favorite is this pink jewelry carrying case. Multiple compartments for different items and a ring holder. The outside is a soft pink leather and the inside is a faux suede. So now you won't get all your jewelry tangled together.
Stylish Laptop Bags by Zaum
Check out these great new designs for traveling with your laptop. By Zaum, these bags are constructed from vinyl with a interior fabric and have foam padding for extra security. Zipped pocket on exterior front. Three interior flat pockets, and removable laptop pad included. Bags fit 17" model Apple laptops or smaller. Price $180.
Perfect for Fall: Gray Jeans
White, blue, black and now gray. A great new addition for this fall/winter. Although my favorite jeans are still dark blue, I have to say it is nice to be able to spice up the denim wardrobe with a new color! Check these styles out at Shopbop. Juicey Couture $178, Seven for all Mankind $165.
Design Sponge Shop Now Open
One of my favorite home decor blogs Design Sponge has opened an online store for emerging and affordable home ware designers. If you haven't ever visited the Design Sponge blog I highly suggest it. Not only does editor Grace Bonney have impeccable taste, her blog is also an inspiration for any kind of artistic creation. And now you can buy some of the items she showcases at her new store. Brilliant.
